I don't want to spark a debate, but I need to get something off my chest.

More and More and More on DA I'm seeing pictures edited to DEATH. If the picture has to be shopped within an inch of it's life, it's not a good picture (or, you don't have a good model). I think some of the work I've seen lately should have been uploaded as photo-manipulations, or even CG, with all the after editing that had been done to them.

I don't think there is anything wrong with retouching colours, but when you have to blur, retouch, reshape, and recolour the entire piece, there is something seriously wrong. If I can't tell the girl in photograph is REAL and not a 3d modeled girl, there is a problem.

Now having said that,

I'm trying to be more honest in my photography. Bad Angles. Unforgiving lighting. Unflattering poses. Absolutely no retouching.

I'm just sayin'.
